Identity Verification & Card Linking Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

To ensure the safety, security, and compliance of our platform, all individual users must verify their identity before they can link a card to receive payouts (e.g., tips or casual income). This process is powered by our third-party verification partner, Didit.

By using thankyü, you agree to follow this process as a condition of using our payout features.

2. Identity Verification Requirement

·       You can begin collecting tips or casual income before verifying your identity.

·       However, you must complete identity verification before linking a card and receiving payouts.

3. Verification Process

When you choose to add a card:

·       You will be informed that identity verification is required.

·       You’ll be shown an explanation of the process and asked to click "Verify now."

·       This will open a secure embedded page where you will complete identity checks with Didit.

·       You must complete this process honestly and accurately.

4. Outcome of Verification

Once you submit your details:

·       If Approved:

o   You will return to the thankyü app and be prompted to add your bank card. You will then follow the linking Card process.

o   Your account is now eligible for payouts.

·       If Denied:

o   You’ll see an automatic message from Didit explaining the decision.

o   You will return to the thankyü app and see a message saying:

"Your identity verification was not successful. Our team will review your submission and be in touch shortly."

5. What We See

·       Our internal team is notified only if your verification fails.

·       If your verification fails, a thankyü team member will review your case and contact you if any further steps are needed.

6. Support & Contact

If you have questions or believe your verification was wrongly declined, please contact our support team at help@thankyu.com.

7. Data Handling

All identity data is handled securely by Didit, our verification provider. thankyü does not store your identity documents. For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy.
