thankyü Thrive – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to thankyü Thrive. These Terms & Conditions apply to all organisations that register for a thankyü Thrive account. By signing up, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. About thankyü Thrive
thankyü Thrive is a dedicated account for organisations — including venues, charities, sports clubs, community groups, and public spaces — to receive and manage donations and support.
Typical thankyü Thrive users include:
Libraries and cultural venues
Music venues and performance spaces
Grassroots sports teams and community groups
Theatre companies and arts collectives
Virtual or digital communities
Payouts go directly to the organisation’s designated bank account — not to individual team members.
2. Account Setup & Administrators
Each account must have a primary administrator responsible for managing it.
Additional users may be added to manage settings and access reports.
Organisations are responsible for ensuring all users comply with these Terms & Conditions.
3. Receiving Donations & Support
Donations can be received from customers, visitors, or supporters.
All funds are paid directly to the organisation’s linked bank account.
The organisation is responsible for managing received funds and any applicable tax obligations.
Payouts are issued according to thankyü’s standard payout schedule.
4. No Employment or Payroll Relationship
thankyü Thrive is not a payroll service and does not process wages, salaries, or benefits.
PAYE, employer NICs, or tax obligations do not apply to thankyü.
Organisations are solely responsible for financial compliance and reporting.
5. Fees & Charges
A standard transaction fee (processing/bank charges) applies at the point of donation. This is subject to change.
An annual licence fee is charged in advance for access to thankyü Thrive (see current pricing at thankyu.com). This supports:
Platform hosting and maintenance
Customer support and service improvements
Ongoing feature development
Transaction fees are deducted before funds are paid out.
6. Data Use & GDPR Compliance
thankyü processes data in compliance with UK GDPR regulations.
By registering, your organisation agrees that thankyü may:
Process data necessary for account and payout operations
Contact administrators about updates, payouts, and service info
Share relevant partner offers for organisational users
Data is never sold or shared with third parties, except trusted service providers (e.g., payment processors).
Admins can manage communication preferences in account settings.

7. Account Suspension & Termination
thankyü reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
Engage in fraudulent or prohibited activity
Violate platform rules or legal obligations
Breach data protection laws
Organisations may close their account at any time by contacting help@thankyu.com
8. Liability & Disclaimers
thankyü services are provided “as is”, without guarantees of uninterrupted access.
We are not responsible for managing your organisation’s finances, tax obligations, or reporting.
You are responsible for meeting all relevant financial, legal, and regulatory duties tied to received funds.

thankyü Thrive – Account Verification

Account Verification, Credit Checks & CoP Validation
After completing the sign-up process, thankyü will verify your organisation’s details using our standard Know Your Business (KYB) credit, AML and compliance checks. This helps protect donors, your organisation, and the wider thankyü community.
As part of this process, we may verify:
Registered organisation details
Directors or primary stakeholders
Address and contact information
Trading history (where applicable)
Bank account ownership via Confirmation of Payee (CoP) and open banking protocols
If any submitted information cannot be verified, or if there are concerns based on these checks, thankyü reserves the right to decline the application. Applicants will be notified by email if this occurs.
We also reserve the right to conduct ongoing monitoring of thankyü Thrive accounts. If concerns arise in the future, thankyü may suspend or terminate an account.
Organisations may request access to the verification data thankyü holds in relation to these checks at any time.
