Hull KR Foundation Launches New Partnership with thankyu to Boost Community Fundraising
Will Heylings of Thankyu and Paul Hamnett of Hull KR Foundation mark the launch of the new partnership.
Hull KR Foundation is proud to announce a new partnership with thankyu, a local business that will help the charity strengthen its fundraising efforts and create new opportunities for fans and the wider community to support its work.
The partnership will officially launch at the upcoming Hull KR vs St Helens fixture, where supporters will be introduced to the thankyu platform and how they can easily pledge their support to the Foundation. thankyu provides a simple and accessible platform that enables individuals to donate either as a one-off contribution or through regular giving. By working together, Hull KR Foundation and thankyu aim to make it easier than ever for supporters, fans and local residents to contribute towards programmes that benefit individuals and families across the community.
The collaboration also represents a commitment to working more closely with local businesses while growing awareness of the Foundation’s work and the impact it delivers across the region. Over time, the partnership will expand to offer more opportunities for supporters to contribute to the Foundation while also highlighting and supporting local businesses connected to the platform.
“It has been great to partner with a local business to enhance our fundraising efforts. Working with thankyu, they have provided a platform that can deliver numerous ways to fundraise which is vital for us as a charity.
To deliver our work, we need to raise over half a million a year to provide our programmes and enable individuals and families in our community to access vital programmes. We are able to secure some of this money from grants but must fundraise to cover costs associated with delivering in the community.
We were drawn to thankyu as it is an easy way to donate which means wherever we go, we can provide people with a hassle-free way to support our work. We are looking forward to seeing where the partnership takes us and how we can grow our impact year on year in the community.”
“What impressed me about Hull KR Foundation is their vision and willingness to break the ‘traditional’ charity mould using digital technology. The partnership will go way beyond simple donation and fundraising – exploring means of connecting local families, schools and local business across the community”
Through this new partnership, the Foundation hopes to further strengthen the connection between the club, its supporters and the community, ensuring that more people can access the support and opportunities they need.
